Cool Chem Stuff

The stuff I found about modern chemistry is fascinating.  The first things I found were questioning properties of water.  The first one was about how water has a glassy state which is weird cause we think of chemistry as textbook chemistry where everything is in a certain state a certain temperatures, but this says that water can form a solid very different from ice.  The other article about water was about how they created a molecule(on the computer) that could mimic some of water's "unique" properties.  It would be pretty cool if they could actually produce this molecule cause who knows what it could be used for.

my favorite was the eye website. i almost left it as soon as i got there cuz i saw the picture of the eye, but i decided to stay and read. i noticed how it tied in with ashley's calling-forensic science. i was slightly disappointed when the article said 'they' instead of 'the' but only i would really care about that, so i suppose it can be forgiven. very interesting stuff, tho. (altho im kind of wondering how long an eye survives after death-i don't rly understand how tht would work)... anyways, cool cool stuff

cool post, i came across something about water and that glassy state too.. crazy, how come they can't create the molecule in real life?
